Theresa A. Lingafelt, 66, Bellwood, died unexpectedly Tuesday at her home.
She was born in Lilly, daughter of the late John Frank and Anna R. (Sady) Latoche.
Surviving are a son, Patrick F. (Linda) of Locust Grove, Ga.; three grandsons: Patrick, Zachary and Jackson; three brothers: John (Sara Jane) Latoche and William (Joan) Latoche, both of Lilly, and David (Nancy) Latoche of Portage; four sisters: Carrie (Kurt) Dell of Wilmore, Genevieve Gibson of Portage, Louise (Paul) Krug of Bellwood and Marion (Matt) Zunich of Portage.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank; and a brother-in-law, Ed.
Theresa was a 1968 graduate of Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She retired in 2010 as a recovery room registered nurse at Altoona Regional Health System. She was a certified perianesthesia nurse and a member of the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Association of PeriAnesthesia Nurses.
Theresa enjoyed reading, traveling and flower gardening and loved her cats.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, and 9 until the 10 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood, the Rev. David H. Roesch officiating.
