Susan L. Mirobelli, 91, Altoona, died Thursday at Valley View Health and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness.
She was born in Bedford County, daughter of the late John and Olive (Imes) Ewig. She married Anthony M. Mirobelli on July 23, 1949, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 1975.
Surviving are five daughters: Toni Mirobelli of Claysburg, Patti Westwood of West Palm, Fla., Deb Lingenfelter of Claysburg, Marilyn Campbell and husband, John, of Altoona and Gina Betar of Altoona; a stepdaughter, Gloria Conrad and husband, Tom, of Lake Worth, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Ruby of Hollidaysburg.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: John and Thomas; a sister, Mary Trail; and a stepdaughter, Rose Marie Ingold.
Susan enjoyed sewing, crafting and spending time with her family.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, in Stevens Memorial Chapel by Pastor Richard Harter. Committal will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
