Anne Mary Rhoades of New Germany and Tyler James Potter of Hollidays-burg are engaged to be married.
Miss Rhoades is the daughter of Ronald and Paula Rhoades of New Germany.
She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown, with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a master's degree in speech-language pathology.
She is a speech therapist in the Forest Hills School District, Sidman.
Mr. Potter is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Potter of Hollidaysburg.
He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown, with a bachelor's degree in computer science and a graduate of St. Francis University, Loretto, with a master's degree in business administration.
He is an ordering systems administrator for Sheetz Inc.
The couple will be married on Jan. 4 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Germany.
