John J. Kelley, 62, Duncansville, passed away Tuesday morning at UPMC Altoona, after an extended illness.
He was born in Altoona, son of Ralph and Nina (Aiardo) Kelley. He married Debbie Zeth.
Surviving are his wife; his mother of Duncansville; a daughter, Dana, at home; a son, Jason, of Duncansville; a granddaughter, Bree; a sister, Vivian Romberger of Newport News, Va.; and three brothers: Harry Kelly of Duncansville, James Kelley of Sacramento, Calif., and Leo Kelley of Bartlett, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his father, in 1998; and a son, John Anthony, on Nov. 14, 2002.
John was a 1969 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He retired from Scott Electric, Duncans-ville, and formerly worked for Howard Johnson's, Granny's, Burger King and Lowe's.
John was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Newry. He enjoyed spending time with his family and granddaughter.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a Vigil service will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, Newry. Committal will be at New St. Mary Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
