Elizabeth R. Clark, 93, passed away Friday at Amber Terrace at Altoona Center for Nursing Care after an extended illness.
She was born in Juniata, daughter of the late L. Earl and Alfarata (Scott) Mills. She married Delbert A. Clark Jr. on July 30, 1942, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 1979.
Surviving are two daughters: Gayla of Altoona and Cheri of Oakland, Calif.; a brother, Raymond E. Mills of Hollidaysburg; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews in the area.
Elizabeth retired after 25 years of retail management in Florida, where her husband was an executive pilot and instructor. She then moved back to Hollidaysburg. She was a homemaker, enjoyed reading and was a Red Cross volunteer and a Girl Scout leader.
Elizabeth had been a member of First United Methodist Church of Hollidaysburg, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or service.
Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, with interment at Grandview Cemetery.
