Jeffrey D. Hanlon, 53, Altoona, died Wednesday.
He was born in Altoona, son of Elizabeth (Knorosky) Hanlon Miller and the late Daniel Hanlon. He married Kimberly Orlosky in 1980 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Cresson.
Surviving are his mother of Mechanicsburg; his wife; three sons: Jeffrey A. and wife, Heather, of Duncansville, Jeremy J. and wife, Stephanie, of Evans, Ga., and Joshua M. and wife, Lindsay, of Altoona; three grandchildren: Austen, Jocelyn and Amelia and another grandson expected; and four sisters: Linda Gongloff of Loretto, Sharon Hicks of Martinsburg, Christine McDermott of Stoughton, Wis., and Lisa Hanlon Wilhelm of Mechanicsburg.
He was preceded in death by a brother, David; and his stepfather, Kenneth Miller.
Jeffrey was a graduate of Penn Cambria High School. He was presently working at Advanced Fire Service Plus and previously had worked as a service manager for a variety of local auto dealerships. He attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Jeffrey was a member of Lawdogs Motorcycle Club and enjoyed riding with his fellow Lawdogs and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He always made himself available to help his family and others.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 13, 2013, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, followed by a funeral service at 8 p.m. in Stevens Memorial Chapel by Father David Rizzo.
