Clara K. Worley, 87, formerly of Kerbaugh, Antis Township, died Monday evening at Valley View Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Alfred and Mabel (Weirick) Garman. She married Harry F. Worley in Phenix City, Ala.
Surviving are her husband of Altoona; four grandchildren: Kenneth S. Jr. of Altoona, William J. of Lakemont, Cheryl Kelly of Greenwood and Mandi Dennis of Pinecroft; eight great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Jeanette McCaulley of Bellwood, Sue Weller in Georgia and Goldie Ulrich in North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Kenneth S. Sr. and William P. Worley; six brothers: infant Charles, Alfred Jr., Russell, Jim, Gerald "Doc" and Robert Garman; and a sister, Alberta Gray.
Clara formerly was employed at Proctor Silex and also worked as a pricer in the bric-a-brac room at the Salvation Army, Altoona. She was of the Brethren faith, and she enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and canning.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, Pastor Rod Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Antis Cemetery.
