A 20-year-old Penn State student fell from a ninth-floor apartment balcony to his death early Saturday morning, according to a release from the State College Police Department.
The student, Conor F. Macmannis of Stafford, Va., was pronounced dead at the scene. The fall occurred at 3:45 a.m., according to the release.
Centre County Coroner Scott Sayers said in a press release that the fall had been ruled accidental after an autopsy was performed Saturday.
A oreliminary investigation indicated drugs and alcohol were involved in the fall, according to the release, which occurred at Penn Tower, located at 255 E. Beaver Ave, State College.
