Kathryn A. (Bedekovich) Fulare, 85, Ramey, died Tuesday at Golden LivingCenter-Hillview.
She was born in Smoke Run, daughter of the late Robert and Barbara (Trdin) Bedekovich. She married Lewis F. Fulare on May 14, 1949, in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey.
Surviving are her husband; four children: Carol Owens and husband, Ed, of Shawville, Lewis Jr. and wife, Ouida, of Centre Hall and their son, Alex, Jerome and wife, Francine, of Altoona and their children, Ashlan, Samantha and Christopher, and Thomas and wife, Michelle, of Coalport and their children, Baliegh and Barry Michael; a sister, Mary Vettek and son, Michael (Pat) Vettek, of Long Island, N.Y.; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Knapp; and a brother, Joseph Bedekovich.
Kathryn graduated in 1945 from the former Madera High School. She was a homemaker and worked as a wrapper layer at the former General Cigar Plant in Philipsburg for 20 years. She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the church's rosary society in Madera.
A private family visitation will be held at Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Ramey. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today, Nov. 14, 2013, at Christ the King Church, Houtzdale. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Madera.
