HOLLIDAYSBURG -- A man suspected of emailing threats to local media, sparking the evacuation of a two-block area surrounding the Blair County Courthouse and water contamination fears that shut off taps in Hollidaysburg, appeared before Magisterial District Judge Paula Aigner Tuesday.
Hollidaysburg Borough police have charged Adam Hardin, 23, with felony counts of making bomb threats, terroristic threats, unlawful use of a computer, and criminal use of a communication facility, among other charges.
Hardin's bail was set at $250,000 cash Aigner. Police allege that he sent the threats from a computer in the law library at the Blair County Prison.
A press conference originally scheduled for 2:30 p.m. today has been moved to 3 p.m. today at the Hollidaysburg Borough Municipal Building.
