E. Maxine Keller, 97, a resident of The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, formerly of Duncansville, died Friday morning at the home.
She was born in Duncansville, daughter of the late George and Lola (Wilt) Magill. She married Sidney Earl Keller on June 4, 1937, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 2010.
Surviving are a sister, Linda S. Miller (Ken) of Duncansville; two brothers: Paul E. Magill of Hollidaysburg and Earl D. Magill of Ashburn, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, E. Lafern Magill; and two brothers: Derwood and James E. Magill.
Maxine was a Hollidaysburg High School graduate. She had formerly worked at the state hospital in Hollidaysburg and the Pop Jones Restaurant in Hollidaysburg. She was a member of Hicks Memorial United Methodist Church, Duncansville, where she was a member of the Grace Koon Sunday school class.
Maxine enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending the winters in Florida with her late husband, Earl.
Friends will be received from 9 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at Liebegott-Brown Funeral Home Inc., 1218 Fourth Ave., Duncansville, officiated by the Rev. Rich Morris. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
