A driver was hospitalized Thursday morning after his car swung off East Pleasant Valley Boulevard and slammed into a deep ditch.
The driver, a young man whose name was not immediately released, was traveling south in the Greenwood area of Logan Township about 10:44 a.m. when he crossed the road and descended into the ditch near a Sheetz store.
By 11:15, his smashed Pontiac Grand Prix had been lifted from the ditch and lashed to a nearby light pole as Logan Township police discussed a possible cause for the crash.
