Vera P. Lingafelt, 90, Altoona, died Thursday at her home.
She was born in Munster, Cambria County, daughter of the late James S. and Magdalene (Willibrand) Knopp. She married Sylvester Lingafelt on Oct. 15, 1949, in Loretto, and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2003.
Surviving are two sons: James P. and wife, Nancy, of Milton, W.Va., and Thomas P. and wife, Stacey, of Altoona; a daughter, Cecelia Wilkinson and husband, Garrett, of Hickman, Ky.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way; two sisters: Myrtle Lilly of Cresson and Margaret Lee of Loretto; and a brother, Joseph of Munster.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Mary Beiswenger and Edna Boist.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Juniata. Committal will be at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson.
