R.L. "Rusty" Stover Jr., 85, Hollidaysburg, died unexpectedly Wednesday.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Ralph L. and Alice (Flohr) Stover. He married Ann L. Slemmer on June 14, 1952, in Altoona.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Rustyann and husband, Gary; three grandchildren: Tyler, Logan and Haleigh; a niece, Jean Closson; and a nephew, Bill Duffy.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Duffy.
Rusty was a 1945 graduate of Altoona High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a sergeant with the 7th Infantry Division, 1st Battalion, 32nd Regiment, A Company. He had been employed with Stover's Restaurant and Amusements and Altoona Area School District Transportation.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, by Pastor Wayne Ayer.
