Lillian S. Holsinger, 80, a resident at Homewood at Martinsburg, died Thursday morning at Homewood.
She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Adams) McGregor. She married Reuben C. Holsinger on Dec. 7, 1950, in Winchester, Va., and he died April 30, 1971.
Surviving are four children: Helen M. Rogers of Martinsburg, Nancy L. Detwiler and husband, Kenneth, of New Enterprise, Wilbert C. Holsinger and wife, Charlotte, of New Enterprise and Mary A. Curry and husband, Wayne, of Roaring Spring; a stepson, Dempsie Hoover of Roaring Spring; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Weitzel of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Daniel, Jesse and Michael; and a son-in-law, Don Rogers.
Lillian was a member of Martinsburg Church of God. She enjoyed playing bingo, her plants and flowers and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at Martinsburg Church of God, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, by Pastor Lew Button. Interment will be made in Holsinger Cemetery.
Contributions in Lillian's memory may be given to Homewood at Martinsburg or the Martinsburg Church of God.
