Mary Ann Rusnak, 71, Altoona, passed away unexpectedly Monday at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Albert and Agnes (Mignogna) Tedeschi. She married Martin Rusnak on June 8, 1968.
Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Marty; three sons: Martin III of Keller, Texas, John and wife, Nicolle, of Lorton, Va., and Mark of Arlington, Va.; three grandchildren: John, Catherine and Emelyn; and a sister, Anita Svoboda of Henderson, Nev.
Mary Ann was a graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh. She was a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital and retired as a career counselor for the Altoona Area School District. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
She loved taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Santella Funeral Home, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
