Constance V. "Connie" Bernazzoli, 81, Coupon, a resident of the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg, died Sunday at the home.
She was born in Coupon, daughter of the late Donald "Pete" and Erma (Massavani) Ball.
Surviving are two children: Ronna (Clair Jr.) Urbanek of Coupon and Ronald "Smoke" (Cindy Malloy) of Gallitzin; five grandchildren, to whom she was known as "Nonnie": Jason (Megan) Urbanek, Jonna (Mike Jr.) Phillips, Jamie (Matthew) Pyo, Michael Bernazzoli and Melanie (Garrett) Thomas; and eight great-grandchildren: Kayla, Talon and Brynn Urbanek, Michael and Maddy Phillips, Hunter and Parker Pyo and Maverick Thomas.
She is also survived by three siblings: Wayne (Joan) Ball of Fairfax, Va., Gary (Nancy) Ball of Sterling, Va., and Lavone (Ron) Conrad of Berryville, Va.; numerous nieces and nephews; a special friend, Donna Sellers of Altoona; and her extended family at the Presbyterian Village.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, on Feb. 27, 2010.
Connie enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and playing bingo at the home. She was a member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin, where a vigil service will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin, the Rev. Albert Ledoux as celebrant. Committal will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Coupon.
