Marilyn S. "Sue" Hohman, 70, a guest at Valley View Home and formerly of Tyrone, died Friday at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Tyrone, daughter of Charles and Evelyn (Lloyd) McClellan.
She is survived by two children, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Perry, Altoona, and Brian (Kimberly) Hohman, Honolulu, Hawaii; and three grandchildren: Emily Perry, Kai Hohman and Nate Hohman.
Marilyn was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
She was a graduate of Tyrone High School and attended Penn State University as a member of the nursing program, where she received her RN degree.
She had been employed as a Registered Nurse at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
She enjoyed shopping and especially loved her grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc., 115 W. 10th Street, Tyrone, with the Rev. Norman E. Huff officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until the hour of the service Monday at the funeral home.
