Reighard’s 2 goals propel Lady Lions

LIGONIER - The Altoona girls soccer team evened its record at 7-7-1 Wednesday afternoon, thanks to a 3-0 win at Ligonier Valley in high school action.

Julie Reighard scored two goals for the winners, who were coming off a 2-1 win at Hollidaysburg on Tuesday night. Paris Haugh scored the other goal for Altoona, which led 1-0 at the half.

In its win over Hollidaysburg, Altoona got goals from Kierra Irwin and Michaela Bryan. Down 2-0, the Lady Tigers got a goal from Alice Ritchey.
