Jody C. Hesley, 46, Hollidaysburg, passed away Friday at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Raymond and Lois (Santella) Hesley.
Surviving are his loving fiancee, Haley Hawk of Hollidaysburg; two daughters, Madelaine and Mara Hesley, a son, Damon Hesley, and their mother, Diana Cruthers, all of Duncansville; a sister, Michele Rae Hesley in Louisiana; a nephew, Cody Ronan; and his dogs: Louie and Molly.
Jody was a 1985 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School and attended Penn State University. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Jody was co-founder and director of Things Unseen Theatre and was a member of Altoona Community Theatre. He also starred in the short film "Get Down" produced in New York City.
Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today, Oct. 8, 2013, at Santella Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013. Committal will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Jody's memory be given in care of the funeral home.
