When my fellow voters go to the polls this November to vote for candidates for the Altoona Area School Board, I would ask them to think about which candidates truly care about our children's futures.
Education is not all about taxes and pension liabilities. It's about finding great teachers, administration, and staff who will help encourage and support our students. It's about creating and maintaining programs and activities that allow our children to learn and grow.
On the November ballot, there will be three candidates who are focused on what education is really about - Elizabeth Chapman, John Donley and John Klingeman. Please get out and support them with your vote.
