M. Lois Hall, 92, Martinsburg, died Tuesday morning at Homewood at Martinsburg.
She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Samuel Baker and Josephine (Hoover) Brumbaugh. She married Donald I. "Posy" Hall on Dec. 25, 1940, in Cumberland, Md., and he died Nov. 23, 1983.
Surviving are two daughters: Bonnie Burket and husband, K. Wayne, of Martinsburg and Doris Benson and husband, Ed, of Woodbury; four grandchildren: Michael Burket, Michele Michelone, Elaine Benson and Kimberly Sellers; two great-grandchildren: Cassandra Michelone and MiKayla Burket; a brother, Gerald Brumbaugh, a resident of Homewood at Martinsburg, and wife, Elizabeth, of Roaring Spring; and a sister-in-law, Bernadine Brumbaugh, a resident of Homewood at Martinsburg.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Kenneth Michael Burket; an adopted great-granddaughter, Megan Benson; two brothers: D. Richard and Harold S. Brumbaugh; and a sister-in-law, Edna Brumbaugh.
Lois was a 1938 graduate of Morrison Cove High School. She was a partner in Hall & Benson Busing until her retirement in 1998, and she previously had worked at Ritchey's Dairy. She was a member of First Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring, and a former member of the Martinsburg Business and Professional Women's Club.
Lois enjoyed spending time with her family.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at First Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring, by Pastor Joe Surin. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
