Charles Franklin Mellott, 60, Hollidaysburg, died Sunday at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Amos Mellott and Gertrude Heidler. He married Patricia Kelley on June 25, 2011.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Matthew; three stepdaughters: Tricia Barr, Tracy Benden and Tammy Barsness; several grandchildren; two sisters: Esther Weaver and Judith Mellott; five brothers: John Mellott and wife, Darlene, Rodrick Mellott and wife, Darlene, George Mellott, Don Gority and wife, Stacy, and Robert Gority and wife, Flo; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, David Mellott.
Charles had been employed as a manager at Donnelly's Antiques in Duncansville for a number of years. He was a member of the Heidelberg Country Club and enjoyed gardening, comic books and family.
Friends will be received from 2 until the 5 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, Pastor Ralph Hamer officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for medical expenses.
