Lori A. (Wagner) Keller, 49, Sinking Valley, went home to be with her Lord Friday at UPMC Altoona, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Lori was born in Altoona, daughter of Merle H. Wagner Jr. and Beverly (Reed) Wagner Johnson. She married John A. Keller on Sept. 10, 1994, in Sinking Valley.
Lori is survived by her husband; mother; stepfather, Elmer Johnson, of Hollidaysburg; three sons: Tyler S. Ginter of Altoona, Reed D. Keller and Benjamin H.J. Keller, both at home; two daughters: Hollie A. Keller and Libby R. Keller, both at home; a brother, Randy J. Wagner (Pam) of Altoona; a sister, Wendie Miller (Mark) of Tipton; twin sister, Lindy K. Wagner of Altoona; mother-in-law, Mary C. Keller of Greenwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; a niece, Lauren Ashliegh Wagner; and by Bob Ginter.
Lori was a 1982 graduate of Calvary Christian Academy and received an associates degree from Mount Aloysius College. She was employed as a medical assistant at Blair Gastro.
Lori was a member of Altoona Bible Church. She was a city girl who loved living in the country. She enjoyed photography, painting and fishing. Above all, she was a devoted daughter, sister, wife and mother who made her house a home to all. She was a bright shining light that will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at Altoona Bible Church, Union Avenue and 31st Street, Altoona, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Altoona Bible Church by Pastor Stewart W. McClelland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602; or The American Cancer Society.
