Harry W. Rickabaugh, 68, Altoona, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Emanuel and Florence (Pretola) Rickabaugh. He married Esther Davis in 1966.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Wendy (John) Brown in Florida; a son, Harry Jr. (Becky) in Maryland; four grandchildren: Connor, Miranda, Nicole and Rachael; and three brothers: Emanuel Jr. and John, both of Altoona, and Stanley of New Kensington.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Regina Nichols; two brothers: Fred and Richard; and a sister-in-law, Janet.
Harry was a 1964 graduate of Altoona High School and served in the U.S. Army as a private. He retired from Commercial Envelope Manufacturing Co. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and the Bavarian Aid Society.
Harry enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, woodworking, gardening and playing lawn games.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at Santella Funeral Home, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Committal will be at Calvary Mausoleum.
