Paul R. McCaulley Sr., 71, Elizabethtown, formerly of Leola, died unexpectedly Monday at Lancaster General Hospital after an auto accident.
He was born in Bellwood, son of the late Raymond P. and Violetta (Kephart) McCaulley. He married Joycelyn P. Long.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years; four children: James R. (Kacey) in Georgia and Nicholas R. (Julie), Paul R. Jr. and Jeanne L. (Thomas L.) Frey, all of Elizabethtown; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two siblings: Richard and Carol.
Paul had worked as a forklift operator for Alcoa. He was a proud U. S. Army veteran and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
A committal service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with military honors.
