Roberta Irene (Treese) Trease, 86, Absecon, N.J., was sent to us from heaven Aug. 3, 1927, and returned to heaven Saturday evening, Aug. 24, 2013, at the residence of her daughter, Kathy Noss of Wrightsville.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late John Campbell and Susan Pearl (Isenberg) Treese.
Surviving are five children: James Eric and wife, Eileen, of Fairless Hills, Priscilla "Percy" of Absecon, N.J., Mary "Kathy" Noss and husband, Donald, of Wrightsville, Helen Ann Leidy and husband, Karl, of Fairless Hills and Marcia Elaine and companion, Dave Viereck, of Woolwich Township, N.J.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mabel Treese of Altoona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: John and Robert; and a sister, Ann.
Roberta worked in food service management and owned and operated her family catering business called Trease Catering in Fairless Hills. She was a devoted member of Emmaus United Methodist Church in Smithville, N.J., and a former member of Fairless Hills United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the noon funeral service today, Aug. 28, 2013, at the chapel at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, the Rev. Lloyd Green, pastor of Absecon United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Alto-Reste Park Cemetery after the service.
Arrangements are by Burg Funeral Home Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion.
