Cecelia M. Pigza, 92, Mahaffey, formerly of Gallitzin, died Saturday at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.
She was born in Gallitzin, daughter of the late John and Sarah (Knee) Reagan. Her husband, Michael, preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 2000.
She is survived by her children: John (Jill) of Morgantown, W.Va., Thomas (Brenda) of Elwood City, Mary Anne Amer of Glen Mills, David (Wendy) of Greensburg and Cecelia Marie (Kevin) Lenz of Mahaffey; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a special nephew, Robert Evon, of Gallitzin.
She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Mohammad Amer; and two sisters: Catherine Evon and Mary Lenz.
She was a member of Gallitzin Senior Citizens and St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin.
Cecelia enjoyed spending time with her grand and great grandchildren, knitting and reading.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin, where a vigil service will be held Tuesday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin, the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal will be at St. Patrick Cemetery.
