The 16th annual Sheetz Pepsi Big Brothers Sisters of Blair County Golf Tournament will be held Monday July 22, 2013 at Iron Masters Ore Hill Pa. The tournament's tee time is 1 p.m. and opens to all levels of golfers; each participant will receive lunch and dinner. L.S. Fiore and New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. are sponsoring a $1,000 drawing which will be awarded at the banquet immediately following the tournament.
Tickets for the drawing are $25 and available at the agency and at Iron Masters the day of the tournament.
The Sheetz Pepsi BBBS tournament will also offer golfers skill shot challenges throughout the course with a chance to demonstration their skillfulness and expertise. All proceeds from the tournament support mentoring programs in Blair County.

With the continued support of organizations and businesses like Sheetz Inc, Pepsi Bottling Group, L.S. Fiore & NESL. The agency will be celebrating its formation in 1964 and 50 years of providing area children who face adversity safe, quality, professionally supported mentoring relationships into 2014..
The agency has recently expanded its program to include a High School Bigs program in Bellwood Antis School District and will begin partnering with Hillside Community Church for a new site-based program in the North Juniata section of Altoona. In working with youth, BBBS holds itself accountable for several specific outcomes: higher aspirations, greater confidence, better relationships, the avoidance of risky behavior and educational success.
The program's current and future success, however, rely on continued support from the community, as BBBS operates entirely from donated funds, grants and partnerships. The golf tournament is an important annual event that will help the agency maintain current matches, create new matches and provide important youth development activities throughout the year.
