Kenneth J. Stossel, 63, Ebensburg, died Tuesday at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
He was born in Cresson, son of the late Chester L. and Kathleen M. (Byrnes) Stossel.
Surviving are three children: Kerri Reichenbach of Brunswick, Ohio, Kenneth Adam (Carlene) of Elkridge, Md., and Amanda Stossel (Ryan Krug) of Ashville; beloved grandchildren: Kendra, Hannah, Logan and a grandchild to be born in December; his former wife and loyal friend, Robin Stossel of Cresson; four sisters: Karen Edmiston (Dave) of Ebensburg, Kathy Ann Budicky (Paul) of Ebensburg, Kandy Hutchinson (Dave) of Lititz and Kelly McGarry (Bill) of Cresson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in
death by a brother, Kevin; and a nephew, Jason Hutchinson.
Kenneth retired as
a physical therapy assistant.
He was a member of the Ebensburg VFW, and he enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers and shooting pool. His family meant the world to him.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, followed by a funeral service at 8 p.m. by the Rev. Roger Johnson. Private committal will be at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson.
