CLAYSBURG - Tyler Ickes and Ethan Lewis each drove in two runs for Claysburg as it defeated Bedford, 5-2, in the Cambria County Legion playoffs on Friday.

Trey Claar earned the victory for Claysburg, as he struck out six batters. Isaac Stern collected a double and an RBI for Bedford.

Claysburg, now 2-0, will host 2-0 Patton in the double-elimination tournament at 3 p.m. today.

Cole Gibson and Jarrett Schmidhammer combined to no-hit J&P Auto Mart as Eldorado Kiwanis won, 12-2, at Seitz Field in five innings in the Altoona Teener Minor League playoffs.

Dominic Georgiana added three hits for Kiwanis, including a double, and had three RBIs.

Kiwanis moved on to face Altoona Arthritis & Osteoporosis Center in today's semifinals.
