Jeannette V. Patterson, 76, Martinsburg, was called home by her Lord and Savior Thursday morning at UPMC Altoona hospital.
She was born in Tyrone, daughter of Howard E. and Ethel E. (Freeman) Givler. She married David S. Patterson on March 30, 1974, in Hollidaysburg.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters: Linda J. Hamp of Newry and Cathy J. Oakes of Sproul; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Jeannette was a 1955 graduate of Tyrone High School and retired from James Industries in 1999. She was a member of the Altoona Choral Society and a social member of the Phoenix Volunteer Fire Company. She was also a member of Clover Creek Church of the Brethren and had been an active member of First Baptist Church, Hollidaysburg, prior to moving to Martinsburg.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2013, by Chaplain Linda Banaszak and Pastor Dave Banaszak.
