This constant and relentless criticism of President Obama is really getting old.
He was re-elected to a second term so to his critics, I would say, get over it. He isn't going anywhere. Find something else to complain about.
For starters: How about the Republican Party that is trying to pass legislation where a woman wishing an abortion after being impregnated from rape would be required to report the rape before an abortion is performed? Why?
So she can be humiliated and violated more than she already has? What are they thinking?
They claim not to be engaged in a war on women but their actions prove otherwise. It's not about abortion or birth control anymore, but more about total control over women. If it wasn't for a woman, these idiots wouldn't even exist.
Their thinking is similar to Middle Eastern culture, where they stone a woman accused of adultery (falsely or otherwise) while her male counterpart walks away, free as a bird, onto his next victim. Women are treated as non-entities.
That is just sick and wrong.
These legislators should be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail. Hopefully, those seeking re-election in 2014 will see defeat in huge numbers.
As for Obama, we still have crazies out there that insist we repeal the Affordable Care Act. According to the highest court in the land, it is the law, so good luck with that.
Obama may not be the greatest president, but he has done good things, getting us out of Iraq and eliminating bin Laden. Still, every move he makes is met with criticism, even something as critical as gun control.
When 90 percent of Americans favor background checks, why is not the law? Ask the NRA. And just for the record, Obama never said he wanted to confiscate guns, just control who has access to them. Big difference there.
It's totally ridiculous and it's more evident than ever that the good old boy network just can't accept the fact that we have an African-American president. They remain trapped in the mindset that the black race is inferior to the white race - no matter that Obama graduated from Harvard Law School, is articulate, extremely bright and yes, was elected to a second term.
Inferior is not a term that applies to this man. It's time to put this to rest and concentrate on legitimate concerns.
