Winona E. Dively, 92, Lewisberry, formerly of Altoona, went home to be with the Lord Saturday at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born in Sandy Ridge, daughter of Glenn V. and Adda E. (Cowher) Hoover.
Surviving are a daughter, Gemma Tillery and husband, Craig; four sons: Glenn and wife, Debra, Greg and wife, Kathy, Mark and wife, Katie, and Adam; six grandchildren: Michael and wife, Billie Jo, Eric, Stacy, Alexis, Michael and wife, Yvette, and Joseph; six great-grandchildren: Kierdan, Alex, Connor, Ryan, Madelyn and Emmanuel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Wava Nolan and Colleen Peth.
Winona was a 1939 graduate of Altoona High School and also attended Altoona School of Commerce. She retired as an executive assistant from the Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot. She was a member of Christ Community Church, Camp Hill.
Winona enjoyed Bible study, singing, cooking, music, reading and spending time with her family and was a published author.
A service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
