Notable: Outstanding defender makes her second appearance on the first team after helping P-O reach PIAA semifinals. Batted .355 with seven doubles, two homers.

Notable: Moves up from second team by batting .390 with five doubles, two triples and a homer. Topped District 6 Class AA champs with 29 runs and only committed one error.

Hannah MercerMISr.Hollidaysburg

Notable: IUP recruit returns to first team. Batted .571 with six doubles, four triples and two home runs, committing just two errors and striking out only once all season. More than 100 career hits.

Abby ShowersMISo.Philipsburg-Osceola

Notable: Led the PIAA Class AA semifinalists with a .526 batting average, five homers, 11 doubles and 32 RBIs to go along with two triples and 26 runs scored.

Ashley Smith3BJr.Central

Notable: Returns to the first team after hitting a robust .492 with five doubles, two triples and four home runs while driving 27. Mountain League first-teamer.

Kala BrumbaughOFSr.Claysburg-Kimmel

Notable: Makes first team for second year in a row after leading Lady Bulldogs to 6-A title. Batted .403 with 42 stolen bases, giving her 121 for career. Make walk-on at Alabama.

Stephanie DeanerOFSr.Chestnut Ridge

Notable: Spearheaded Lady Lions run to District 5 Class AA crown with her .523 batting average. Collected 12 doubles, three triples, stole 12 bases, scored 27 runs, drove in 30.

Haley FrankOFJr.Philipsburg-Osceola

Notable: Mountain League first-team all-star hit an even .400 with nine doubles and a home run.

Emily NagleOFJr.Bellwood-Antis

Notable: Inter-County Conference North first-teamer had a breakout year by hitting .468 with four doubles, four triples, four home runs, 29 runs and 21 RBIs. Made one error.

Jacqueline FinnDPSo.Bellwood-Antis

Notable: Lady Devils' slugging catcher returns to the first team after a season in which she hit .414 with four homers and 27 RBIs. Belted three home runs in a game against Juniata Valley.

Taylor McKnightDPSr.Central

Notable: Makes the move up from the second team after another great year with the bat, slugging six homers and five doubles and driving in 31 runs while batting .525.

Bridgit YothersUTISr.Chestnut Ridge

Notable: Makes it back onto first team. Went 10-2 as a pitcher with a 2.29 ERA, 70 strikeouts while hitting .373 with 28 runs, 17 RBIs, eight doubles and 10 stolen bases.

Kiersten CohoRHPJr.Claysburg-Kimmel

Notable: Took over in circle for Lady Bulldogs and looked right at home with a 1.15 ERA and 155 strikeouts over 140 innings. Unflappable and very good with the bat, too.

Kate BurgeRHPSr.Philipsburg-Osceola

Notable: Gets first-team all-area nod for third straight year with her best season. Went 20-1 with a 1.09 ERA and 138 strikeouts in 143 innings. Only walked 33.

Alyssa PheasantRHPSo.Hollidaysburg

Notable: Future looks bright after she shut out defending champ Bellefonte in 6-AAA final and gave up two earned runs in interdistrict opener. Went 10-8 with 81 strikeouts.

Taylor PayneRHPSr.Bellwood-Antis

Notable: Appearing on first team for third time. Edinboro recruit who struck out 182 batters in 126 innings, sporting a 1.00 ERA. Finished with 601 career strikeouts.

Kelly YuskoRHPJr.Penn Cambria

Notable: Another strong performance as she returns to first team after leading Lady Panthers to LHAC title. Struck out 128 in 116 innings and belted 14 extra-base hits.
