Millie Musselman, 85, Claysburg, passed away Friday.
She was born in Claysburg, daughter of the late Michael and Esther (Musselman) Walter. She married Walter C. Musselman Sr. on Feb. 13, 1947, in Winchester, Va. He passed away on Nov. 3, 2011.
She is survived by two sons: Walter Jr. and wife, Nancy, and Scott and wife, Debbie, all of Claysburg; two grandsons: Christopher of Claysburg and Timothy and wife, Kerri, of Richmond, Va.; brother-in-law, Silas Musselman and wife, Ruth, of Martinsburg; and a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Wright and son, Greg, of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Belva Shore.
Millie was a 1945 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School and worked on their homecoming float for many years.
She was a member of the Claysburg-Kimmel Alumni Association and its band, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She worked her entire life in retail, first for Klevan's Department Store and then for the Carpet Depot. She spent her working career in the same building.
There will be a private service at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Claysburg Union Cemetery.
