Hollidaysburg's doubles team of Amir Alkhafaji and Eric Miller will face the State College team of Ed Banning and Dan Shull today for the District 6 Class AAA doubles championship in high school boys tennis.
The Class AAA championship match is set for 1:30 p.m. at the Leopold Rec Center. The Class AA doubles championship bout, featuring the teams of Josh Remillard and Adam Trexler of Central Cambria against Kevin Tomkowski and Gap Barbin of Bishop McCort, is set for 10:30 a.m.
Alkhafaji and Miller advanced to the finals by defeating State College's team of Luke Plowden and Enrique Del Castillo, 6-2, 6-3 in Friday's semifinal round. In the other semifinal match, the Badding-Shull team topped the Altoona squad of Chad Allender and Ryan Good, 7-5, 6-7, 6-2.
The Alkhafaji-Miller squad defeated Altoona's team of Chris Reighard and Mustafa Ahmad, 6-4, 6-2 in the quarterfinals.

Bishop Guilfoyle beats Bedford
Jim Burke and Dom D'Andrew won singles matches, and the teams of Zane Clark and Dan Sullivan and Nick Fiore and Matt Keefer both won doubles matches as Bishop Guilfoyle defeated Bedford, 4-1, at Mansion Park.
Jack Bittner won at No. 1 singles for the Bisons' lone win.
Guilfoyle improved to 12-5.
