Jeanne M. Palko, 57, Gallitzin, died Thursday at Altoona Regional.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Patrick and Rita (Cronauer) Reilly. She married John Palko on June 16, 1992.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Christina (Jedidiah) Stonebraker of Brookville; a grandson, Austin; three siblings: Patty (Bruce) Reilly of Matthews, N.C., Michele (George) Hurd of Chambersburg and John "Jack" (Sandy Newton) of Davenport, Fla.; a niece and nephew: Kerry and Patrick Hurd; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Donna (William) Miterko of Portage, Bill and Carmen Palko and family of Delmont and Paulette (Roger) MacBride and family of Chesapeake, Va.; and a uncle, John Reilly of Seabury, Fla.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marci Biro, on Feb. 8, 1999.
Jeanne worked for the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home as a human resources analyst. She was a member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin, and also belonged to Women of the Moose, Gallitzin, Gallitzin American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Gallitzin Sportsmen's Association.
Jeanne enjoyed her dog, Merlo, spending time with her grandson, Austin, traveling, going to the beach and sitting on her deck.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin, where a vigil service will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2013, at St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin, the Rev. Albert Ledoux as celebrant. Committal will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
