Ronald E. Germann, 66, Altoona, died Thursday in Altoona.
He was born in Streator, Ill., son of Charles and Olga (Antolik) Germann. He married Kay Lindsay on Oct. 5, 1968, at First Lutheran Church, Altoona.
Surviving are his wife, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage; and a son, Matthew R. at home.
Ronald was a 1964 graduate of Altoona High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving with the military police as a specialist four in Germany during the Vietnam conflict. He worked for Wolf Furniture Co. for 17 years, then retired from Blair Mill Outlet in 2008 after 24 years of service.
Ronald was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church, Duncansville. He enjoyed old cars, woodworking and his beloved dog, Molly.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2013, at Evangelical Lutheran Church 1200 Fourth Ave., Duncansville, by the Rev. Jaime G. Olson. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
