Terza earns Sylvan victory

HOLLIDAYSBURG - Mary Jane Terza was the winner in the Sylvan Hills Ladies Golf Association's Par 3 Tournament on Tuesday. Connie Angeski had the longest putt on the ninth hole.

Last week, Terza had the longest drive on No. 7, and Linda Wise had the longest putt on No. 7.

Scotch Valley

HOLLIDAYSBURG - Dennis DeGol and Mitch Neaffer took first place in the Scotch Valley Spring Cross Country Scramble, while Brent Shook and Brian Barnett finished in second place.

Philipsburg

PHILIPSBURG - Jeff Martell's score was combined with Masters winner Adam Scott to win the net division of the Philipsburg Country Club's Masters Tournament with a 137 on April 14.

Hole-in-one

Brian Knisely carded a hole-in-one on the King Valley Golf Course's 180-yard 11th hole with a 6 iron on Tuesday. He was playing with Kent Sell and Chuck Weyant.

Ryan Scaife and Scott (138) finished second, while Cory Wood and Tiger Woods (141) took third, and Girard Kasubick and Scott (142) placed fourth.

Adam Timchak and Scott (145) won the gross division, while Craig Wood and Angel Cabrera (154) finished second. Doug Goss and Matt Kuchar (155) took third, while Andy Timchak and Cabrera (157) placed fourth.
