Rep. Seth Grove's plan to reform municipal pension plans should start off with the slogan "everybody" pays and that includes "tax free" rip-offs except, of course, Wounded Warrior pensions.
They have already paid more then enough. Disability pensions, in most cases, are larger than the ordinary pensions. However, attempts to lower pensions now are too little and too late.
The answer is that tax-free pensioners are simply going to have to help out.
There's no reason that because you incurred an injury in the normal course of your civil service employment that you should live in the lap of luxury and the taxpaying pensioners (getting less than you receive) have to pay your tax.
Something's very wrong here.
