Robert W. "Bob" Reigh, 84, Hollidaysburg, died Wednesday at Altoona Regional after an extended illness.
He was born in Altoona, son of Walter and Edna (McGirk) Reigh. He married Helen Marie Yeager on Aug. 21, 1950, in Winchester, Va.
Surviving are his wife, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage; a son, Galen R. of Williamsburg; and a sister, Mary Hauk of Wilmington, Del.
Bob was a 1946 graduate of Altoona High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and retired from Appleton Papers Inc., Roaring Spring, in 1990 as a lab technician. He was a member of Geeseytown Lutheran Church and attended Juniata Valley Gospel Church.
Bob enjoyed woodworking and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, by Bishop Rob Patterson. Interment will be at New Canoe Creek Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.
