BRADENTON, Fla. - "Altoona" was the key word of the day on Feb. 28 at Duff's Original Buffet in Bradenton.
The annual Altoona Day luncheon attracted 140 people, including 30 first-timers, who either are current residents of Altoona or are former Altoonans now living or vacationing in the Sunshine State.
It was a day of reminiscing as attendees shared memories of school and other events about their hometown. Besides the good fun and good food, many door prizes were awarded, thanks to the generosity of several Altoona businesses.
