Johnson’s walkoff hit lifts Hornets to victory

ALEXANDRIA - John Johnson came up with a two-run walkoff double for Juniata Valley as the Hornets completed a three-run rally in the bottom of the eighth inning to knock off West Branch, 4-3, in high school baseball on Thursday.

Chad Speigle put the Warriors ahead, 3-1, in the top of the eighth inning with a two-run homer.

Wyatt Belinda had a pair of hits, an RBI and scored a run for the Hornets, and Kordell Collins doubled among his two hits and scored a pair of runs.
