Position: Distance running
College choice: Seton Hill University
Other colleges considered: St. Francis, Bloomsburg, Edinboro
Why I picked Seton Hill: "I chose Seton Hill because of the academic reputation of the university and especially the Nutrition and Dietetics program. Also, after meeting with the team, they made me feel welcomed. This made my decision of choosing a college a lot less stressful."
Greatest high school achievement: "I would have to say my greatest high school achievements would be when I was chosen as Athlete of the Week three times, placing top 25 all four years in cross country at states, and two years of winning medals at the state track and field championships with this year yet to be determined."
Coach Randy Wilson's quote: "It's hard to put into words what she has meant to the program. She has been a solid rock, dating back to her time in middle school. She is a true workhorse, and is a delight to be around. She never settled for less than getting better every year."
How I got my start running competitively: "I just wanted to get involved and meet new people. I thought it would be something that I could see myself enjoying to do."
Favorite college growing up: Penn State
Other interests: Watching movies, shopping, hanging out with my friends.
What getting to run in college means to me: "It's always been a goal of mine since I started track in sixth grade to run in college. I pushed myself as much as I could because I knew I had to work hard to succeed. This fulfills a long-term dream of mine."
Probable college major: Dietetics and Nutrition
