WILLIAMSBURG - Austin McMonagle and Tyler Shaw combined on a no-hitter as Williamsburg cruised past Glendale, 10-0, in five innings in high school baseball Tuesday.

Bryce Young had a pair of doubles and Jed Dishong and McMonagle each drove in two runs.

NORTHERN CAMBRIA - Northern Cambria scored 14 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to beat Harmony in a five-inning contest in high school softball.

Bre Sabella homered twice, totaled three hits and drove in four runs to go with four RBIs and three hits from Kelly Lieb. Teammate Hannah Tibbott added three hits and two RBIs to go with two hits from Ashley Farabaugh and two RBI from Paige Benton.

It was the season opener for both teams.

EBENSBURG - Bishop Carroll defeated Central Cambria, 26-24, 25-18, in junior high girls volleyball. Caroline Semelsberger had 11 service points, Jordyn Platt had 13 assists and Hannah Cotchen had six kills for the Lady Huskies.

Bishop Carroll is now 3-0. Central Cambria slipped to 0-2.

JV: Bishop Carroll, 25-16, 25-12.

Heights juniors win

PATTON -Cambria Heights defeated Bishop McCort, 25-21, 27-25, to improve to 2-0.

Tara Renninger led the winners with four service points.
