Marjorie E. Stiffler, 87, Hollidaysburg, went to be with her Lord Thursday evening at The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg.
She was the daughter of Elwood and Mabel (Dieters) Patterson. She married Charles S. Stiffler in 1941, and he passed away Oct. 25, 2004, after 62 years of marriage.
Surviving are a son, Charles S. III and wife, Betsy, of Hollidaysburg; three daughters: Sally Cree and husband, Daniel, in Ohio, Nancy Forsht and husband, Ronald, in Pennsylvania and Karen Daniels and husband, Colin, in Virginia; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two former daughters-in-law: Peggy Stiffler and Deborah Stiffler; and a son-in-law, Leonard Sturm.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald E.; a daughter, Joyce A. Sturm; a granddaughter, Amy Jo Sturm; and two grandsons: Chad Forsht and baby boy Stiffler.
Marjorie attended Vicksburg Grace Brethren Church.
Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, at Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. by Pastor Wayne Ayer. Interment will be at New Canoe Creek Cemetery.
