Dorothy Catherine Clark, 84, Altoona, passed away Saturday at Altoona Regional.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Howard M. and Sarah Ruth (Youtzy) Miller. She married Harvey H. Clark on Oct. 25, 1947, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Juniata, and he preceded her in death March 23, 1999.
Surviving are two children: Pastor Kevin Allen Clark (Susan) of Harrisonburg, Va., and Tracy Lynn Rzepkowski (Dan) of Ocean City, Md.; five grandchildren: Nathanael Clark (Kate), Laura Elizabeth Smith (Tim), Jonathan Clark, John D. Rzepkowski and Katy Sue Wills (Andy); five great-grandchildren: Autumn and Summer Smith, McKenzie and Alexis Wills and Emelia Clark; two sisters: Bessie M. Patton of Buffalo, N.Y., and Arlene Leonard of Juniata; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ruben Miller; and two sisters: Mary B. Warner and Jeanette H. Fries.
Dorothy was a 1946 graduate of Altoona High School. She retired in 1991 as a faculty secretary from the Robert E. Eiche Library, Penn State Altoona, after 31 years. She was an active and involved member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Juniata.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2013, at E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc., 2309 Broad Ave., Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Juniata, by Pastor Elizabeth Hess. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery.
