Zella C. Grodes, 98, a resident of Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg, died Thursday. She was born in Gallitzin, daughter of the late John and Amelia (Stepanovich) Grodes. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Vincent, Anthony and Valentine; and a sister, Alice Bendon. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or visitation. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, at St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin. Arrangements are by Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin.
