Ronald W. Feathers, 69, Claysburg, passed away Thursday at home.
He was born in Klahr, son of the late Guy and Esther M. (Hoenstine) Feathers. He married Edna Dickinson on Aug. 29, 1961, in Altoona.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Ronald W. Feathers Jr. and a daughter, Michelle Bauman and husband, Michael, all of Claysburg; six grandchildren: Ashley Weyant and husband, Kenny, Autumn Feathers, Kayla, Athena and Austin Bauman and Rose Miller; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Mervin Feathers and wife, Ruth, of Martinsburg; a sister, Ellen Royer of Duncansville; and a special family member, Betty Miller of Claysburg. He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Kylen Weyant; a brother, Eugene; an infant sister, Bonabell; and a sister, Leora Donaldson.
Ronald was a member of Lower Claar Church of the Brethren. He retired as a self-employed mobile home service technician and previously had been employed at GREFCO and Champion Homes.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, with Pastor John Winesickle officiating. Interment will be at Upper Claar Cemetery.
